Star Metal is a WA based company that design, manufactures and installs, custom metal fabrication in the Industrial Fabrication and Architectural metal fields. In addition to enclosures and perforations the Industrial Division fabricates:

At Star Metal, we create for our client’s high quality 3D designs of their sheet metal fabrication project, which is suitably detailed for engineer or client review/approval. Using advanced software, our 3D designs are transferred to the workshop via our CNC networked machinery, guaranteeing precision in the final custom sheet metal product.
Our networked CNC machinery ensures we are a ONE-STOP-SHOP fabrication solution, it is the reason our customers keep coming back to Star Metal. We offer; Design and draft capabilities Fully rendered 3D models or 2D simple CAD drawings that can be used for architect or client engineer review. Engineering certification We can ensure your project meets all relevant Australian Standards and Engineering Compliance requirements, i.e. Cyclone wind rating, C3 balustrade rating, Structural integrity etc. Specialty fabrication and welding capabilities We have a range of fabrication expertise that can provide welding qualifications and codings to suit a range of applications:

Star Metal have the depth of project experience on diverse jobs to help you identify areas of cost reduction within your project. We provide pre-fabrication advice to save time and materials, we have extensive experience and know what works. Having a clear understanding of what the finished product will look like before fabrication is so important, at Star Metal, we can provide virtual walkthroughs of 3D models of every project to ensure the final fabricated product reflects the desired outcome.

Our fabrication capabilities include: turret punching, bending, guillotine cutting, rolling, and welding. We can insert clinch ruts (rivnuts), countersunk studs, and nutserts, as well as notching, forming, profiling, and more into your project. We also provide assembly services, building perforated and other metal components to existing or new building/structures. Plus, we can apply a variety of finishes — such as powder coating, anodizing, wet-spray — to provide the specific look and level of protection you need for your sheet metal fabrication project.

Following fabrication, our skilled installation team can then complete the installation of your project.

With extensive and diverse fabrication qualifications and hands-on experience in custom and metal fabrication, there is nothing we can’t do.

Stainless steel fabrication – A regular feature in our production schedule. Some of the common applications of stainless steel in our workshop includes: electrical switch boards and cabinets, kitchen benchwork, outdoor kitchens, variety of stainless steel components including for hospitals and the health sector, as well as components for outdoor projects that can be located close to harsh coastal environments.

Aluminium fabrication – Commonly used as an alternative to stainless steel due to the high cost of stainless steel. Aluminium is a lot lighter but maintains significant corrosion resistance . We often fabricate aluminium for electrical switchboards and cabinets, and a range of architectural and outdoor solutions.

Exotic metals

Typically brass and copper are technically challenging to weld, our workshop, however, has experience in delivering what are often exacting specifications in high visibility locations. Due to our success in delivering brass welding and copper welding we continue to be sought out to undertake these types of projects.
